Either way you look at it, they look to be a good mix between off-road chunkiness and on-road handling. By balancing a tighter inner tread void, with wider more open outer lugs to cut through loose and slippery surfaces you get a good mix in theory. Kumho were keen to mention that they took the tyres through the Aussie Outback for 20,000km of torture testing, and put them up against similar competitor brands with tremendous results. The proof will be in the pudding though, and we are looking forward to putting them through the Unsealed 4X4 test with a long-term review down the (dusty) track. And to be honest, it is pretty out there both in terms on innovation and features. You see, the Go doubles as both a camper trailer, and a goods trailer. That means you can bring your toys along for the ride, including dirt or quad bikes and kayaks and still have a comfy bed at the end of the day. Thanks to the modular design, the Go can be setup in multiple configurations. Even the inside can be set-up to have an eating area and two single beds, or an all out activity hub with enough room to sleep five very close friends. As another cool side note, the trailer can be tilted too so there is no need to bring ramps along to load your motorbikes or bulky items. Be careful of imitations though! So what’s in the box? Well, this universal unit is a communication device, allowing you to hook your phone to the unit hands-free using what they call Parrot. An inbuilt navigator is also pre-loaded, with an SD card slot to allow for easy mapping upgrades. The multimedia side of things is also quite impressive, with an integrated CD/DVD player or USB port, as well as other connectivity options like 3.5mm mini jack and a reverse camera input. So it makes calls, tells you where to go and plays things. Pretty sweet! This is why it is exciting to see the new Fridgemate from Evakool, which contains many of the great original features (as well as a few new ones) minus the yellow finish.
